FAQs

Do You Color Hair or Cut Extensions?

My suite is a dedicated non-toxic space, which means I do not offer chemical services such as color, toners, bleaching, perms, Brazilian blowouts, or similar treatments. I also have a personal intolerance to the harsh ingredients often found in these products, so for everyone’s comfort, I kindly ask that you avoid scheduling a chemical service on the same day as your appointment with me. If you’ve recently had a chemical service performed, please be sure your hair is thoroughly washed before your visit (especially within the last 24 hours).

At this time, I also do not offer extension haircuts. My approach is centered on celebrating your natural texture, with a focus on lived-in, razor-cut artistry that allows your hair to move and grow beautifully on its own.

Do I Need A Conditioning Treatment?

If your hair is dry, previously colored/bleached, or a bit stressed, I HIGHLY recommend adding a conditioning treatment. This will give your hair the hydration and slip needed for razor cutting techniques.

Should I Come With Clean Hair?

It’s preferred, but not required. If you’re a new client, arriving with freshly washed, dry hair in its natural form helps me clearly read your texture, density, and how your hair mat respond to products. Heavy product and oil buildup isn’t ideal for sanitation and can limit how accurately I can assess your hair.

Clean, natural, and product-light is best — but perfection isn’t expected.✨
